Winter is Here!
Hello friends -- THANK YOU for praying for us!! we are through with winter and in the middle of SPRING!! flowers, mowers, hikes and camper registrations!!
I told you that the Asbury Tumblers were coming -- a crew of 24 from a Christian college in Kentucky. They put on quite a gymnastics show! It was open to the community, and over 120 came. The students shared from their heart about what God is doing in their lives, and presented dramatizations of the gospel as well as good acrobatics. We had a retreat group of international students from Durham at the same time, so they heard the gospel from these young vibrant college students!
We have sent out the new color brochures -- did you get one? do you need more? let us know.
Now it's April....
1) SOCCER is going strong. We are excited to have so many good Christian leaders helping coach teams this spring. We plan to invite the soccer kids to summer camp in a week or two, so pray that they will come and hear the gospel. and
2) the SOWERS are here for the whole month!! They are doing wiring and sewing and drywall and "deep" cleaning of the Lodge.
The Blessmans will also join us for a week, to help with carpentry, gardening, painting and much more. They will also be involved in summer camp in July, so we are happy to be able to share and plan and pray with them.
There is a lot more to do between now and June 29, first day of camp....lining up staff and counselors, ordering supplies, planning the outings and themes and activities. Please pray that the right summer staff will sign up -- we don't have nearly the staff yet that we will need. If you can help, say so!! God has provided once again for the financial needs here, and for health and wisdom. We continue to seek His peace that passes all understanding.
