Kyle Palmer - Outreach Director

Kyle was born in central Florida to a family of missionaries. He grew up with plenty of knowledge about God which helped pave the way for him to continue to grow in a deeper experience of His presence now.
Kyle and his bride, Gwen, have been married since 2010 and the Lord has blessed them with 5 amazing children. Kyle says “My family is my first ministry”. As a family, they have been intentional about engaging their community with the Gospel. Oftentimes that meant sharing the Gospel while cooking or serving in a restaurant and hosting house church in their home. Eventually, they decided to combine those and opened a non-profit restaurant. It had a significant impact on their community in Florida. Since 2017, they have been sharing the lessons they learned from that experience all over the country.

When they settled in Bryson City, Camp Living Water caught Kyle’s eye (it happens to bear the same name as the ministry his grandfather started 75 years ago). He asked to volunteer. Eventually that turned into coaching soccer, cleaning bathrooms, managing programs, and now engaging our community as Outreach Director. He still cleans bathrooms though (great acoustics for singing praises, according to him).

Kyle loves to get into nature, especially being on the water or slacklining.

Kyle’s prayer is that Camp Living Water becomes a beacon of Christ's love to our community; that through God's favor, we become a blessing to all of the people here, that we become known as a place of refuge and rest, as well as a place of wholeness and community; that people would say among themselves, "God is there." and that it would be true.
